Q) What is LocalTrackDays for?

A) LocalTrackDays was created to provide a one-stop-shopping approach for finding automotive driving events across the United States. While each local region seems to have a number of small, close-knit communities that meet at the track, there are inevitably events that are missed because “I didn’t know there was an event then!”

Q) Where is “local”?

A) Although LocalTrackDays.com is located in sunny Southern California, we’re not focusing on any one location in the US. We know of a number of regional and national groups and include their schedules as published, however are always looking for new groups or event schedules that we’ve missed. Please Contact Us if we’ve missed your group, or a group that you’re aware of.

Q) What type of track events does LocalTrackDays.com track?

A) The Auto Racing world is enormous, however our current focus is fairly small – Road-Racing and Autocross events. While this is a relatively small niche, this includes HPDE (High Performance Drivers Education) events, amateur wheel-to-wheel racing, time trials, and other similar “general track day” type events.
